Bunny's Secret Henna Diary The henna in the picture above is derived from traditional henna patterns from Yemen. The calligraphy in the center is copied from 13th century Seljuq Kufic script, and says "Al-Hadi" which means "the Guide to the Right Way". I hope something in this website is a guide to the right way for you. I used pure natural henna from Castle Art, http://www.castleart.com and mixed it with nothing but lemon juice. I left the henna on overnight, sealed with New Skin, and steamed it several times the next morning to set and intensify the color. and
